BJD Kimono - Black Formal Furisode

This fantastic black kimono ensemble I made from the real very formal Japanese tomesode with hand painted flowers and phoenix. The pattern is rich and exquisite, decorated with embroidered shining silver threads.
I don't have other vintage kimono like this so it’s absolutely impossible to reiterate presented doll kimono. It is only one on the world.

The silvery obi is made from real obi. It's pretied obi so it is easy to put on. Obi has Sunrise Drum bow for ceremonial and formal wear. Additional white rose decoration you can put on or remove it if you want.

This beautiful very formal kimono set includes:
1. Black formal furisode kimono with chrysanthemums and phoenix.
3. Pretied silver obi.
4. Obijime hand braided with decoration.
5. Obiage shibori pattern.
6. Two cotton ties.

The kimono set is demonstrated on 68 cm doll (Scout/Granado).
It fits 74~63 cm boy and girl dolls perfectly: SD, SD16, SD17, Luts SSD, Iplehouse EID and SID, other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.

My kimonos are vintage. All materials I'm using are authentic vintage kimono fabrics from Japan. Obi are made from real obi, obiage are made from real obiage. Obijime is hand braided using Japanese kumihimo braiding disc.

For me it takes few weeks or even a month to create a kimono set for the doll. So I have just few items to sell. I think they are some kind of beautiful art, not just ordinary things to sell.
