BJD Kimono - Purple with Flowers and Butterflies

Handmade OOAK BJD kimono made of authentic vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. Accurately sewn following old Japanese traditions. My kimonos are vintage. All materials I'm using are authentic vintage kimono fabrics from Japan. Doll kimono are sewn anew but materials are used as they were real Japanese kimonos before.

I’m selling my beautiful doll kimono on my Etsy store https://www.etsy.com/shop/InarisansCrafts?ref=si_shop
This one is SOLD OUT.

This beautiful purple BJD kimono was real human sized komon kimono before. The material was in excellent condition. Rich purple color with silver roses and woven butterflies. It is very attractive.
This formal doll kimono is fully lined. The lining is taken from other vintage kimono, decorated with woven roses.

This kimono is made for large 73-62 cm dolls like I.O.S. class 70, Loong Soul, DOD, SD, SD16, SD17, Luts SSD and SD, Iplehouse EID and SID boys and girls and other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.
On the photo the kimono is demonstrated on 68 cm Granado doll Scout.

This beautiful formal OOAK kimono set includes:
1. Purple formal kimono with flowers and small butterflies.
2. Ornate obi made from real obi. Obi has a magic tape to splice it.
3. Obiage and obijime.
4. Additional cotton tie.

Kimono length is 56 cm, sleeves length 29,5 cm.

For me it takes few weeks or even a month to create a kimono set for the doll. So I have just few items to sell. I think they are some kind of beautiful art, not just ordinary things to sell.

Doll Briefs Show

I like to sew doll boxers using child socks. They are very stretchy, they have well designed waist with gum threads inside and they have adorable colorful patterns. It is so funny to work making these cute undergarments for my boys.

First I was uploading here the images for my eBay store. But later I have realized this post has become quite interesting BJD boxers' collection. Please enjoy nice Doll Briefs Show!

P.S. All these boxers are sold long ago, but if you are interested - feel free to contact.

My lovely Sokuto in Sakura pattern kimono

This is my lovely Sokuto - I call that name my first doll Scout from Granado. At first we have decided not to change original names from doll producers. But lately I want something different. Something what sounds more Asian and still recalls original name. So it is Sokuto for now.

This is Sokuto in my first kimono garments. There are 2 different kimonos - the white with sakura pattern as a main kimono and the purple one you can use as nagajuban or wear it on top. The obi supposed to be also but I was in a rush and had no time to fuss about it.
The fabrics I used are original vintage kimono fabrics. They are pure Japanese silks! I have brought real vintage kimonos on ebay, unstitched and washed them. That was a challenge! And finally I used these unique fabrics to create new garments for dolls.

Notice: I'm selling this beautiful kimono set (kimono & purple nagajuban) right now. Please find the selling post here - http://inarisan.blogspot.com/2012/07/sale-bjd-kimono-set-sakura-blossom.html

Doll height 68 cm.

Please enjoy my sewing. Hope it will be my wide business some day. Yes!

Granado - Boyd

I'm waiting for this doll to be listed on Granado sales again. The head's features and absolutely natural make-up are making this doll unique. As I already have Granado's 68cm male body, I would like to order 64cm body for complete collection..

Boyd, 25, American, Granado’s top model. Even though Boyd is a hot-blooded and slightly clumsy, but when it comes to modeling, Boyd seems to be possessed by Muse; every camera is fascinated by him. Boyd is highly praised by many for being able to have multi images yet will not lose his own identity; he is the blue eyed boy for various famous brands. Due to his tight schedule, Boyd seldom meets with Gitana alone, which makes him feel lonely sometimes. Currently, with his new image, Boyd is ready for Halloween photo shooting. He is very devoted in his job, and show the correct attitude for being a model.
