BJD kimono - "Madame Butterfly" Geisha Furisode

This is stunningly beautiful very formal doll kimono set for real geisha.

Kimono set includes:
1. Blue formal silk kimono with dyed flowers and gosho-guruma .
2. Pretied obi with butterfly (textile).
3. Obijime with golden thread.
4. Obiage shibori pattern.
5. Two cotton ties.

This fantastic kimono ensemble I made from the real Japanese girl's kimono decorated with hand painted flowers and embroidered gosho-guruma (imperial carriage). It’s exquisite and very elegant garment for doll. This kimono has padded bottom like real very formal kimonos have.

I have used for sewing the most beautiful hand painted parts of vintage girl's kimono. It’s impossible to make another kimono like that. It is only one on the world.

The red obi is made from real girls obi, pink ribbon and textile butterfly decoration. It's pretied obi so it is easy to put on. Obiage tie was made from real Japanese red obiage, shibori pattern. Obijime is decorated with golden thread.

The kimono set is demonstrated on my lovely doll Sokuto (Scout/Granado 68 cm).
It fits 74~63 cm boy and girl dolls perfectly: SD, SD16, SD17, Luts SSD, Iplehouse EID and SID, other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.

My kimonos are vintage. All materials I'm using are authentic vintage kimono fabrics from Japan. Obi are made from real obi, obiage are made from real obiage.
