BJD kimono - Black Formal Tomesode with Peonies

This beautiful very formal kimono set includes:
1. Black formal silk kimono with hand painted and embroidered peonies.
2. Pretied silver obi.
3. Silvery flowers for decoration.
4. Obijime with pendant.
5. Obiage shibori pattern.
6. Two cotton ties.

The doll, hair decoration, small decorative ball and mini dagger are not included.

This fantastic black kimono ensemble I made from the real Japanese haori with hand painted and embroidered peonies and ribbons. It’s exquisite and very elegant garment for doll.
From one vintage haori just one doll kimono was sewn. I have used the most beautiful hand painted parts of fabric. It’s impossible to make another kimono like that. It is only one on the world.

The silvery obi is made from real obi. It's pretied obi so it is easy to put on. Additional silvery rose decoration you can put in front or ont the back as you like. Or remove it if you want.

Obiage tie was made from real Japanese red obiage, shibori pattern. Obijime is decorated with beautiful Tibetan silver pendant.

The kimono set is demonstrated on 68 cm doll (Scout/Granado).
It fits 74~63 cm boy and girl dolls perfectly: SD, SD16, SD17, Luts SSD, Iplehouse EID and SID, other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.

My kimonos are vintage. All materials I'm using are authentic vintage kimono fabrics from Japan. Obi are made from real obi, obiage are made from real obiage.
