BJD kimono - Black Formal with Golden Phoenix

Handmade and hand-stitched OOAK BJD kimono made of authentic vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. Accurately sewn following old Japanese traditions. Doll kimono is sewn anew, fabrics are vintage.

I'm selling this kimono on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/InarisansCrafts?ref=si_shop
Sold out :)

This beautiful black kimono was real human sized tomesode before. The material was in excellent condition. It is 100% silk crêpe with embroidered golden phoenix. It is very attractive.
This formal doll kimono is fully lined. It has the red lining used for most formal clothes. The lining is taken from other vintage kimono, decorated with woven cranes and golden dust clouds. Natural silk as well.

This kimono is made for large 80-68 cm dolls like Soom Mecha Angel, IOS Class 80 Lacrimosa, Anarmonia, Iplehouse EID, Loong Soul 73-75 cm boys and other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.
On the photo the kimono is demonstrated 73 cm Loong Soul / Ivan.

This beautiful very formal OOAK kimono set includes:
1. Black formal kimono with embroidered golden phoenix.
2. Ornate obi. Obi has a magic tape to splice it.
3. Additional cotton tie.

For me it takes few weeks or even a month to create a kimono set for the doll. So I have just one item to sell. I think it is some kind of beautiful art, not just ordinary thing to sell.

BJD Kimono - Black Formal Furisode with Peonies

This kimono is in pair with the previous one as it was made from the same human formal kimono. Only two doll kimonos are possible to sew using fabric from the adult tomesode. However these two small kimonos are absolutely different as the pattern is different.

This beautiful very formal kimono set includes:
1. Black formal Furisode kimono with hand painted peonies and other flowers.
3. Pretied golden obi with decoration.
4. Obijime golden.
5. Obiage pink shibori pattern.
6. Two cotton ties.

The kimono set is demonstrated on 62,5 cm doll Haru (Abadon/Luts). Thank you my dear friend Countess Audronasha http://countessaudronasha.deviantart.com/ for borrowing your doll and taking photos. Thank you awesome boy Haru for posing so nicely.

Kimono length is 66 cm, sleeves length 33 cm.

This kimono fits 68~62 cm boy and girl dolls perfectly: SD, SD16, SD17, Luts SSD and SD, Iplehouse EID and SID, other large BJD. For smaller dolls to adjust the length make a fold on the waist (under the obi). Don't worry - this is a traditional way of kimono wearing.

BJD kimono - Blue Wild Flowers

I like this pale grey fabric with blue and white wild flowers.
The pattern is subtle and doll kimono looks very elegant. I have used peach color atlas for lining.

Kimono set includes obi with removable bow - you can put it in front or on the back as you like. Obijime with silvery pedant and pink obiage are added as well.
